Born in 2012 from a love of simple food and full tables

Like so many family stories, ours started at home. Nonno and Nonna loved good food, good olive oil, and having a full table. That love became something they passed down to their children and grandchildren.

Olive oil was always part of the family kitchen. It went over bread, into salads, across a plate of pasta—and somehow there was always another bottle on the table.

Over the years, the family started talking about doing something of our own. We wanted to share the kind of olive oil we grew up with: simple, honest, and made to be enjoyed every day.

After plenty of tasting, talking, and figuring things out, we finally did it. Our first olive oil was produced, bottled, and sold. A family idea had become something you could actually hold in your hands.

By now, a new generation was getting involved. The family was growing, the bottles were traveling a little farther, but the way we thought about food hadn't really changed.

Today, Pietra is still about the same things Nonno and Nonna cared about all those years ago: good food, good people, and a table with room for one more. We're just lucky enough to share it with a few more people now.
